Solvent B Fraction control

Move the slider or enter a number in the text box to select the ratio of solvent B (acetonitrile or methanol) to solvent A (water) in the eluent.

Remarks

Lower organic content (higher water content) makes the eluent more polar, causing compounds to be retained longer on the non-polar stationary phase. In the same way, higher organic content makes the eluent less polar, reducing the time compounds are retained in the column.
